From stellar communication to great equipment and an up-to-date music library, one of our main focuses is quality. We will bring a level of quality to your school dance that you won’t find anywhere else. One story that really proves this point is Redmond High School’s last dance before COVID began. Less than a week before the dance happened the leadership team at the school requested black lights. It wasn’t a problem. Our team showed up early, set up the lights, and played the best music for the students present. To say the dance was a success would be an understatement. The black lights were so incredible that the room changed color, everyone’s teeth fluoresced, and blonde hair turned bright green. Then there was the dancing. These kids went HAM. Our lead DJ, Lewis, brought the slaps, and it was obvious by just looking at the crowd. If they weren’t dancing, they were jumping, and if they weren’t jumping, they were screaming along with the latest Tik Tok song. That is the thing about the Fire DJs. We are young, talented DJs from Portland and beyond who can connect with students. We are not 40-something-year-olds playing Michael Jackson and thinking it’s still cool. From the moment you first contact a Fire DJ to when you dance your heart out at your dream prom, it will be evident how real our quality is.
The connection between the DJ and the crowd is crucial for the success of a dance. We provide this important connection by staying up-to-date on new music, actually being young, and catering our music to the crowd. Not only are we happy to take song requests ahead of time, but we are also happy to take them live, the night of your dance. We have integrated this functionality into our next-level website and would be more than happy to play what you really want to hear when it matters most. Obviously, we will stay appropriate and only play clean radio edits of your favorite songs. We are registered with the School Dance Network and have access to that “new new”. We interact with students in the crowd, make announcements when needed, and create a hyphy atmosphere at the dance. The last thing that sets us apart from the pack is our commitment to epicness.
Whether it’s infinity mirrors, mounted projectors, or crazy lights, we will bring a setup that blows your mind. We seek to create an epic environment that resembles worlds out of Alice in Wonderland. The thing is, we DJ to enjoy it...we do it for the love of the music, the love of movement, and the love of letting loose.

Truly one of the most epic pictures of my hand. Never thought of myself as much of a hand model, but after a shot like this, I am considering changing careers.
Oh yes, sometimes I play at bars/clubs too. In this instance I got a slot at M8RX Nightclub at the start of a busy night. The one thing I love about DJing to a group of rowdy college students is the crowd response. Those kids go crazy and it’s just exhilarating to not only watch, but feed into it by playing the best high-energy songs.
This was a picture of me DJing a sweet 16 in northern california. The event was really cool and came with a photo booth, an amazing venue, and me, the DJ! I got the birthday girl on top of my subwoofer and we all sang her Happy BIrthday which was cute. The one thing that really stood out was this one kid asked me to play his favorite song, and right when it dropped he pulled out a full- blown backflip right in the middle of the party. It was wild!
This has got to be one of the strangest events I have ever DJ’d: a full-blown vaccination event. Yes you read that right, I DJ’d while people got vaccinated. Oh and I brought Hula Hoops! Can’t beat it!
Pierrette and Spencer’s wedding was one for the books. They were insistent on wanting heavy electronic music throughout, and I mean throughout. Spencer walked down the aisle to heart-thumping happy hardcore music. For those of you who don’t know the happy hardcore genre, think Skrillex. That’s the best I can do for you. Spencer’s grandpa (pictured) was an incredible officiant and explained to the guests what EDM or electronic dance music was. The couple even exchanged bracelets during their ceremony while referencing PLUR (Peace, Love, Unity, Respect). I was honored to DJ for them and it was an absolute blast!
My face may look a little crazy, and you may be wondering what I am wearing, but read on and I will happily explain. So this was the 2nd of 3 angels and demons ragers we had at 6666 Pasado. That glowing box you see behind me was actually a 3-story tall cross constructed by Cameron. He really killed it, the thing was so tall and bright, you could see it from several streets away. Oh and then there’s Travis. So the year before when I had made the first cross someone had decided to climb this 300 pound collection of wood, nails, and LEDs. It was one of the scariest moments of my life but...luckily nothing happened and everyone was fine.This year I made sure not to let anyone near the cross. Many people climbed on the stage and I quickly shouted them down. But how could I say no to Travis? By the way, I am dressed as an angel, hence the yellow shirt and white robe. Judging by the picture I must have been playing a dirty banger at this moment. What can I say, if you ain’t sending it, why do it at all?

All I do is win, win, win no matter what Got money on my mind I can never get enough And every time I step up in the building Everybody hands go up… These lyrics from the famous DJ Khalid song “All I do is Win” were played right before this picture was taken. I mean just look at all the hands. This event was a pretty large one. Hosted in the backyard of my college house we shoved at least 500 rowdy almost-adults into an area roughly the size of a tennis court. The hard part was keeping them in the backyard and off of the roofs. One of the two photographers I had hired took this picture ironically from the roof. That definitely was a hectic night. We had the largest sound setup that we had pulled together for any party that night. With 4 subwoofers and 6 speakers we were ready to rock and roll.
